Objective of Machine Vison Solution

To implement an automation process to inspect the auto part confirming the correct quantity of weld holes present.
To eliminate the human mistakes when inspect part.
To reduce the number of operation head count
To reduce the ink pen usage.
To implement paperless operation for efficiency.
To eliminate the storage require to keep the paper report for 7 years.

Current Operation

Operator will inspect the part to check the number of weld holes.
Operator will mark the part with green ink pen for correct hole and mark with red ink pen for defects found.
Operator will record the quality information in the product verification checklist.

Propose Solution

To automatic inspect the number of weld holes on the part.
To use multiple cameras to inspect the different position of every part.
The checking is done automatically when every part is loaded to the inspect position.
Upon checking, the system will display “OK” or “NG”.
The defect information will be detect and save to system database.
Automatic alert can be relay to the line leader.
Real time inspection result can be access from network client PC.
